Bel-air Lexus

Bought my 2020 RX 350 CPO. Buying experience was great however I am disappointed my first service visit. Scheduled for a dashboard noise diagnosis and also the engine oil sign needed to reset as it was changed 10k ago. When I dropped off my car the service rep wanted to do a Inspection(Service 3) which I corrected by saying just needed to reset oil change message. To my utter surprise I was billed $95.99 for the visual inspection. I wished I had read the document before I signed. This was a case of miscommunication with the customer or just could be simply trying to over sale the stuff that I don’t need. I hope the service department be more straightforward with their customer. Update: Alisabelle reached out to me regarding the miscommunication. She listened to what happened that day patiently to rectify this issue. After a good discussion, we came to an agreement of getting a free oil change on my next service visit. Also, Bel Air will take another look to the dashboard noise problem in January. Not only this, I addressed all my little concerns with the car and my future service needs. She will work on them. Bottom line is, this how a legitimate business should be run and earn customer satisfaction. I appreciate this approach; hence, a 5 star!

I brought my 2020 RS350 with 23k to Belair Lexus for scheduled oil change and mounted snow tire installation. They called me saying that one weight had fallen off one of the wheels so they recommend rebalancing all 4 mounted snow tires, which I allowed and furthered that the vehicle needed a front end alignment, ironically they hit me with this need last time I was in earlier this year and had it done. I just drove back from Toronto and the steering was perfect with no pulling, so I declined the rep said that I most likely hit a pot hole and that he’d note it in my file, I took this as a vail threat. In thinking later, why didn’t the service rep simply recommend the rebalancing of the one mounted snow tire that had a missing balancing weight. Unfortunately, I experienced up selling with questionable twist! In these trying times I strongly believe this Important to know and to share. UPDATE Bel air Lexus management has reached out to me and apologized for the inconvenience experienced. Remuneration in the form of a credit was offered and accepted for the wheel balancing and for the next basic scheduled maintenance. Good business initiative.

I just bought my new Lexus IS from Belair Lexus and I have to say this was the best Dealership experience I have ever had. the team at Belair really knows how to do customer service the right way! If you are looking for a new Lexus talk to Alex in Sales he really knows the cars and took the time to explain and answer all of my questions!

This is specifically in regards to Lexus Belair service on McArthur, not Lexus sales. We brought our vehicle to service for some sort of message in dash popping up, plus the shifter kept jamming when we would move from parked and also had some random downshifting here and there. We bought the car used from Toronto over a year ago and havent had any issues with it until now. Lexus service took a look, told us the diagnostic shows an issue with some sort of a sensor but that by changing it, it should help with the message we keep getting. We agreed to the work and $1600+tax later, the shifter was fixed but nothing else. They also installed our tires for us at no charge which was nice of them. We called them back to let them know the issues were mostly all still there. My husband had been dealing with the service manager since the beginning, Chris, he seemed concerned and asked us to bring it back. We were given a loaner, again. This was the 2nd loaner and let me mention, both loaners were absolutely filthy. Between the 2, there were oily hand prints all over the screens, they looked like they hadnt been vaccuumed or dusted ever, random streaks of sticky substance on the back door inside and out, food in the back seat creases, etc. I couldn't believe they'd give loaners to their customers looking like that. Especially considering it's Lexus and clearly the cost for their cars and repairs is not cheap. That was just an added bonus to how horrible their service was. Long story short, we ended up having to bring the car back twice plus another $900+tax bill saying everything would be fixed but of course, nothing we had gone in for was fixed except for the shifter from the first visit. Not to mention, when we picked it up from them after the 1st visit, the tire pressure light was on and they never even fixed it after they were the ones to install the tires. The only reason we are even giving 1 star is because we dealt with JP here and there and he was pleasant to deal with. Chris was extremely rude, very obnoxious and condescending. He made remarks to say that because we bought it used, he doesn't know the full background but that we should just replace the transmission. How do you go from telling us you know the issue, you'll fix the issues at a cost of $2500+tax, but then you have no idea what's wrong and to just change the transmission? Horrible service from him specifically. We also have friends who stopped going there because of a bad experience with him as well. Think twice before giving this place all your money.
